My name is Crystal Mays and this is my passion. I've been creating hair art since I was 11 years old and experimenting with family and friend's hair. My professional journey started in the year 2000 and has taken me to study advanced hair cutting, coloring and styling techniques at Redken, Aveda, and Bumble and bumble. I was an in-salon Network Educator for Bumble for seven years and have taken numerous courses at the Bb University in New York City. Before finding my passion in the beauty industry, I studied at Savannah College of Art and Design earning a BFA in Graphic Design.

My approach to working with hair is much like that of an artist painting on canvas or a fashion designer shaping a garment. One of my favorite things is to create effortless styles that grow out fabulously and work with what is occurring naturally in the hair. My go-to tool is the feather-razor. This is probably because of my background in art and love of sculpting shapes. I'm best known for creating feminine short women's haircuts, working with curly hair, natural-looking hair color (grey blending), and sun-kissed highlighting. My goal is to tailor a look that suits you, bringing out your best, each time you come in.

It's been a dream of mine to be able to work with hair color and styling products that are made with the most natural ingredients. I am excited to now be able to offer all natural, certified organic, chemical free products; caring for your hair, your health and the health of the environment. It would be an honor to journey with you.
